C.A. Asbrey

Chris Asbrey has lived and worked all over the world in the Police Service, Civil Service, and private industry, working for the safety and security of the public. In that role, she produced magazine and newspaper articles based on consumer law and wrote guides for the Consumer Direct Website, whilst managing a team providing advice on utility law. She was Media Trained, by The Rank Organization, and acted as a consultant to the BBC's One Show and Watchdog. She has also been interviewed on BBC radio answering questions on consumer law to the public. She lives with her husband, Malcolm the dog, and two daft cats in York, England, and loves spending time in her garden.

My Feedback

Working with Jennie is like...

I was lucky enough to have Jennie select my book of her own volition, and I was over the moon to find that she not only enjoyed it, but fully understood the themes, period, characterizations, and research that went into producing the series.

I found Jennie to be very honest in her appraisals, as well as approaching the work with an intelligent enthusiasm for her work. I particularly enjoyed the quotes she pulled out which aptly captured the spirit of the protagonists, my writing, and the dialogue. She is a delight to work with and is thorough, thoughtful, and friendly.

I really hope that Jennie will pick up other books in the series. I'm so keen to find out what she thinks of the way the story and characters progress.

If you are looking for a great reviewer for your work, I can't recommend Jennie highly enough.
